It continues to be a primary goal and mission of our bank to provide excellent and comprehensive service to our community with the goal to make a meaningful difference in our bank’s assessment area in such a manner as to be recognized by our regulators as performing at a satisfactory level for cra activities.
This document is to serve as a restatement of our prior CRA policy and to incorporate the changes enacted by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation 12 g.f.r. Chapter 111, Part 345. Under the revised regulation our bank would fall under the “Small Institution performance standards.” Our bank’s assessment area is defined as census tract #2040.01 and #2040.02 in Waukesha County and census tract #9909.00 and #9916.00 in Jefferson County and census tract #0003.00, #0004.00, and #0005.00 in Walworth County.
It is the philosophy of our bank to strike a proper balance between safety and soundness and meeting the credit needs in our bank’s “Assessment Area” (BAA) through involvement in community development to help make our community a better place to live and work. To make this happen, our goal is to emphasize performance in terms of creating and improving low/moderate income housing stock availability in our “Assessment Area” as well as help generate new and preserve existing low/moderate income job opportunities. This includes activities that create, retain or improve jobs for low or moderate-income persons and to help stabilize, revitalize or rebuild low and moderate income housing in our BAA.
To carry out our philosophy of service to the above-described assessment area, it is our bank’s business plan and strategy to focus and emphasize the following activities:
Place primary emphasis on lending and community service in our delineated assessment area so that a substantial portion of our bank’s loan activity is conducted in this assessment area.
Our bank has developed a high level of expertise in real estate lending business. We believe our bank has an excellent reputation in mortgage lending based on our speedy, efficient service. We intend to continue this focus with emphasis on servicing our assessment area.
Our staff is involved in a number of community activities and have recorded numerous hours of community service.
Our goal for the bank and its directors, officers and staff is to be a leader in community development as it is our future.
